Job summary

Taronga Western Plains Zoo, Dubbo, is seeking enthusiastic Food and Beverage Attendants to support our hospitality operations across multiple venues, including two cafés, our events centre, Zoofari Lodge restaurant and Serengeti Resort. This is a unique hospitality role offering part-time hours (15-25 per week) with pro rata base salary of $54,422 plus penalties and superannuation.

Qualifications

• No experience? No problem. Full training is provided, and we're looking for team members with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional customer service to zoo guests.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages.
• Set up cafés, restaurants, and event spaces ready for service.
• Take food and drink orders using the POS system.
• Serve meals and drinks to guests.
• Process EFTPOS and cash payments accurately.
• Clear tables, wash dishes, and maintain clean and tidy work areas.
• Help create a welcoming experience for every guest.
