Job summary

Atwell, LLC seeks a Cyber Security Engineer to join our Technology Services team and advance our Zero Trust security architecture. The role requires hands-on Zero Trust experience and strong IAM expertise to implement controls and governance across a hybrid environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into technology solutions, develop policies, and continuously improve our security posture against evolving threats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering, IAM, infrastructure security, or related.
• Hands-on experience implementing Zero Trust in an enterprise.
• Strong IAM and privileged access management experience.
• Knowledge of RBAC, MFA, and SSO.
• Familiarity with SAML, OAuth, OIDC, Kerberos.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and ongoing management of Atwell's Zero Trust architecture.
• Evaluate Zero Trust technologies to support Atwell's environment.
• Engineer IAM solutions including authentication, authorization and access governance.
• Develop and maintain secure access policies for users, devices, apps, and integrations.
• Implement and manage privileged access controls and least-privilege models.
• Enhance endpoint security, device trust, and compliance-based access controls.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, app, and support teams to embed security requirements.
• Automate security processes via scripting, APIs, and orchestration tools.
• Support security initiatives across cloud, hybrid, and SaaS environments.
• Troubleshoot security controls and maintain business continuity.
• Support security incident response related to identity, access, and cloud controls.
