Job summary

Atwell is seeking an experience Cyber Security Engineer to join our Technology Services team and help build our Zero Trust security architecture across enterprise environments, covering cloud, on‑premises, and SaaS applications.

You will evaluate solutions, implement security controls, collaborate across infrastructure, cloud, application, and support teams, and help own this area of our security program while improving identity governance, device trust, and least‑privilege access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent
• 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering or related experience
• Hands-on experience implementing Zero Trust in an enterprise
• Strong IAM and privileged access management experience
• Knowledge of RBAC, MFA, SSO, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, Kerberos

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implement, and manage Atwell's Zero Trust security architecture
• Evaluate Zero Trust technologies to support business needs
• Engineer IAM solutions including authentication, authorization, access governance
• Develop and maintain secure access policies for users, devices, apps, and third‑party integrations
• Manage privileged access controls and least-privilege security models
• Advance endpoint security, device trust, and compliance-based access controls
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, application, and support teams
• Automate security processes via scripting, API, and orchestration
• Support security initiatives across cloud, hybrid, and SaaS environments
• Troubleshoot security controls and support incident response
• Conduct security architecture reviews and document findings
• Maintain technical standards, procedures, and docs
• Evaluate emerging security technologies and shape roadmap
