Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a part-time Youth & Young Adults Secretary in Northbridge, WA. You will strengthen youth ministry across the region, support current programs, and help develop future initiatives engaging the next generation.

This permanent, 19-hour-per-week role requires a relevant ministry qualification, youth/pastoral experience, and active involvement with Salvation Army church activities. WWC and national police checks are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification in youth and young adults ministry or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of Salvation Army culture and practices.
• Experience with safeguarding and child-check requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of the national youth & young adults strategy.
• Plan and deliver youth events and initiatives.
• Coach regional youth ministry leaders and teams.
• Collaborate with Area Officers and Mission teams.
• Share resources and ensure consistent ministry practices.
• Stay informed on youth trends to strengthen outcomes.
