Job summary

National Networks Plus is expanding its Not-for-Profit staffing pool in the Sunshine and Fraser Coast region and seeking Expressions of Interest from passionate Youth Workers.

Join a team committed to supporting communities, with duties including relationship building, crisis response and accurate record-keeping, in a flexible environment that accommodates other employment.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or related field is required or in progress.
• Hope & Healing Certificate (or willing to obtain).
• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to obtain).
• Current NDIS Worker Screening (or willing to obtain).
• Current Working with Children check (or willing to obtain).
• Unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence.
• Comprehensive Car Insurance (or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with the people you support.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders.
• Respond to crisis situations with immediate support and coordination with authorities.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, assessments and program outcomes.

We are currently expanding our staffing pool across the Sunshine and Fraser Coast region to support our growing client base. As part of this growth, we are seeking Expressions of Interest from passionate and dedicated individuals with experience working as a Youth Worker who would like to be considered for upcoming client opportunities. Duties include:

Requirements:

YOUTH WORKER

• Cert IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or other relevant field (eg: Disability, Mental Health etc.) - Or working towards
• Hope & Healing Certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Current First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)
• Current NDIS Worker Screening (or willing to obtain)
• Current (Paid) Working with Children check (or willing to obtain)
• Recent and relevant experience in a similar role
• 2 professional supervisor references
• Unrestricted Australian Driver's License
• Comprehensive Car Insurance (or willing to obtain)
