Job summary

National Networks Plus is expanding its Youth Worker team in the Ipswich region to support health and community clients. If you are passionate about helping others in a community setting, join our Not-for-Profit team providing coordinated care and crisis support while maintaining thorough records and collaborating with stakeholders.

You will hold relevant qualifications, be willing to obtain required clearances, and work within a flexible schedule that supports the community’s needs across

Qualifications

• Cert IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or equivalent.
• Hope & Healing Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain.
• NDIS Worker Screening cleared or willingness to obtain.
• Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
• Recent and relevant experience in a similar Youth Worker role.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with the people you support.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders and teams.
• Respond to crisis situations, providing immediate support.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, assessments and outcomes.
• Work collaboratively to ensure the highest level of care and support.

Duties include:

Requirements:

YOUTH WORKER

• Cert IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or other relevant field (eg: Disability, Mental Health etc.) - Or working toward
• Hope & Healing Certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Current First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)
• Current NDIS Worker Screening (or willing to obtain)
• Current (Paid) Working with Children check (or willing to obtain)
• Recent and relevant experience in a similar role
• 2 professional supervisor references
• Unrestricted Australian Driver's License
• Comprehensive Car Insurance (or willing to obtain)
