Job summary

The Salvation Army Australia is seeking a compassionate Youth Support Worker to join our Bundaberg team in a casual capacity. You will provide practical, emotional and crisis support to young people experiencing homelessness and disadvantage within a 24/7 residential environment.

  • Minimum Diploma in Youth Work, Community Services, Social Work or a related discipline
  • Current Queensland Driver Licence
  • Current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • Current First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain
  • Ability and willingness to work across a 24/7 roster, including weekends, evenings, overnight and public holidays where required

The Salvation Army is seeking compassionate and dedicated Youth Support Workers to join our Bundaberg team. You’ll provide practical, emotional and crisis support to young people experiencing homelessness, disadvantage and complex life circumstances.

Working in a supportive 24/7 residential environment, you’ll play an important role in creating a safe and welcoming space where young people feel heard, respected and supported to achieve their goals.

What You'll Do

As a Youth Support Worker, you will:

Essential Requirements
