Job summary

Save the Children Australia in Mount Isa is inviting applications for a full-time temporary Bail Response Program role. You will work as part of our Bail Response Team to support young people involved with the justice system, helping them re-engage with work or learning and ensure their voices are heard.

You will develop case management plans, deliver quality services, and facilitate engagement with families and stakeholders, using trauma-informed approaches and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Develop case management plans for clients, using a strength-based trauma-informed approach
• Facilitate activities designed to increase young people’s social and emotional wellbeing, life skills and education attainment
• Provide timely referrals and promote/facilitate access to other services
• Implement behavioral management strategies in line with Save the Children’s youth work principles and as directed by the Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Provision of quality service delivery
• Provide positive healthy relationships and engagement with young people and families
• Facilitate positive stakeholder relationship management to support young people
• Case planning, monitoring and evaluation of goal setting outcomes
