Job summary

Stride is seeking a part-time, non-clinical support worker based in Armstrong Creek, VIC. You will assist young people and adults to review needs, enable independence, and document outcomes within client plans.

The role focuses on recovery-oriented, person-centred support, data collection, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Training, wellbeing initiatives, and leave options are provided as part of a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

Cert IV in a Community services related discipline is required or higher.
Lived experience of mental illness or caring for someone with mental illness considered advantageous.
Understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture; ability to communicate effectively with Indigenous clients.
Experience in working with people experiencing mental illness.
Recovery-oriented, person-centered, strengths-based approach to service delivery.

Responsibilities

Provide regular non-clinical support to service users and review needs.
Enable clients to achieve independence through information, training and support.
Routinely perform Outcome Measures and collect data.
Use rostering systems, record time, and sign off client activity.
Provide sensitive, client-focused advocacy and information using the recovery process.
Attend Communities of Practice and engage in professional development.
