Job summary

Everyday Independence is seeking a Youth Lead Practitioner to support adolescents and young adults aged 9-25 with disabilities. You’ll work across homes, schools, and community settings, leading an interdisciplinary youth team to plan NDIS-funded therapy packages and help participants achieve personal and educational goals.

Strong communication, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to growth are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience working with youth aged 9-25
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Positive, flexible approach to work and willingness to meet billable targets
• Proven experience with people with a disability and NDIA processes
• Registered qualifications with relevant professional body (YWA or AASW depending on discipline)

Responsibilities

• Lead the interdisciplinary youth team planning NDIS funded therapy packages
• Support participants to achieve educational, personal, social and work goals
• Deliver therapy in diverse settings (homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces, centres)
• Document and bill for sessions through the online system
• Participate in weekly hub meetings and seek clinical mentoring as needed
