Job summary

Everyday Independence is hiring a Youth Lead Practitioner to support adolescents and young adults with disabilities across Australia. You’ll lead an interdisciplinary team, plan NDIS therapy packages, and work in diverse settings from homes to schools to community centres.

You’ll bring a relevant tertiary qualification with registration and a minimum 12 months’ youth experience, plus a collaborative, growth-focused mindset and willingness to meet billable targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience working with youth aged 9-25.
• Positive and flexible approach to work.
• Strong communication skills and be a team player.
• Commitment to personal and professional growth.
• Demonstrated experience working with people with a disability.
• Willingness to work to billable targets.
• NDIS Workers Screening Check
• Working with Children’s Check

Responsibilities

• Lead the interdisciplinary youth team planning a young person’s NDIS funded therapy package.
• Utilise assessment and intervention skills to support youth to achieve educational, personal, social and working-life goals.
• Deliver therapy in diverse settings (homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces and community centres).
• Hold meaningful, future-focused conversations with participants and their supports.
• Empower participants and families to develop habits and routines.
• Document and bill each session through the online participant management system.
• Attend weekly team meetings in the Hub and tap into clinical knowledge from your Team Leader and Therapy Mentor.
