Job summary

NSW Department of Communities and Justice is seeking staff to supervise young people in a secure Youth Justice Centre, with shift work across a 24/7 roster including weekends and public holidays.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting education, programs and daily activities designed to reduce reoffending, alongside psychologists, caseworkers and other specialists to maintain a safe and structured environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise young people in a secure Youth Justice Centre while encouraging participation in education, programs and daily activities designed to reduce reoffending.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting young people while maintaining a safe and structured environment.
• Collaborate with psychologists, caseworkers and other specialists to support youth in a team-based setting.
