Department of Justice is seeking a Youth Justice Case Officer for the Enhanced Bail and Support Service in Victoria. You will support young people subject to bail with home visits, coordinate with families and services to promote rehabilitation, and deliver after-hours transport and activities.

You will provide technical expertise in electronic monitoring, install and maintain devices, and balance priorities across a team. Training is provided, with locations including Sunshine and Dandenong.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in social work, youth work, psychology, human services, criminology or criminal justice are desirable.
• Full driver’s licence required.
• Current Working with Children Check required.

Responsabilités

• Provide case support to young people subject to enhanced supervision and monitoring, including home visits.
• Work with families and community supports to promote rehabilitation and life skills.
• Deliver after-hours support and pro-social activities such as transport to school/work/appointments.
• Provide expertise in electronic monitoring to support suitability assessments and manage devices.
• Work in a rotating roster with early, late and weekend shifts.
