Job summary

The BUSY School in Cairns invites applications for a full-time Case Management and Wellbeing Support role. Based at Cairns Campus, you will work with vulnerable and disengaged young people, coordinating services with families, school staff and external providers to boost attendance and student success.

You will lead case plans, monitor wellbeing goals and provide classroom and small-group support, helping students re-engage with education and achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience working with at-risk and/or disengaged young people.
• Ability to coordinate with families, teachers and external providers.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and collaboration with diverse groups.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and monitor case plans and wellbeing goals.

Responsibilities

• Case manage at-risk and disengaged students from assessment through to review.
• Develop and monitor case plans, student support plans and wellbeing goals.
• Coordinate support services with families, teachers and external providers.
• Monitor attendance and implement intervention strategies to support 85% attendance.
• Provide classroom, individual and small-group support for students.
• Support student wellbeing through crisis intervention and referral pathways.
