Job summary

The BUSY School at Coolangatta Campus is seeking a dedicated Part-time Case Manager to support vulnerable and disengaged young people. You will collaborate with families, school staff and community providers to deliver coordinated wellbeing and attendance-focused services.

Based at the Coolangatta Campus, you will develop and monitor case plans, support goals, and provide classroom and small-group support while promoting student wellbeing and engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to develop cooperative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure outcomes for students are achieved.
• Knowledge and experience in working with youth in a vocational education pathway.
• Excellent communicator, a promoter who is influential with the ability to seek and secure opportunities.
• Ability to obtain a Blue Card and National Police Check with no disclosable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Case managing at-risk and disengaged students from assessment through to review.
• Developing and monitoring case plans, student support plans and wellbeing goals.
• Coordinating support services with families, teachers and external providers.
• Monitoring attendance and implementing intervention strategies to support students in maintaining minimum 85% attendance.
• Providing classroom, individual and small-group support for students.
• Supporting student wellbeing through crisis intervention and referral pathways.
