Job summary

The BUSY School, part of The BUSY Group, seeks a dedicated Case Manager to support vulnerable young people at Cairns Campus. Based on-site, you will coordinate wellbeing and attendance initiatives, liaising with families, school staff and external providers to promote student success.

You will bring experience with at-risk youth, strong stakeholder skills, and a proactive approach to wellbeing and education pathways. A Blue Card and National Police Check are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with at-risk and/or disengaged youth.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with diverse groups including students, families and service providers.
• Knowledge of vocational education pathways is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Case manage at-risk and disengaged students from assessment to review.
• Develop and monitor case plans, student support plans and wellbeing goals.
• Coordinate support services with families, teachers and external providers.
• Monitor attendance and apply interventions to maintain 85% attendance.
• Provide classroom, individual and small-group support for students.
• Support student wellbeing through crisis intervention and referral pathways.
