Job summary

Latrobe Community Health Services is seeking Home Support Workers (Qualified) to assist clients across Latrobe Valley, Wellington, East Gippsland and Bass Coast. You will provide domestic assistance, meal prep, shopping support, personal care and respite services in clients' homes with flexible rosters and paid travel between shifts.

This casual role offers paid kilometres, travel time, a consistent roster, and internal career opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid and CPR certificates must be kept up to date.
• Valid Working with Children Check.
• Current Victorian Driver’s Licence and ownership of a registered vehicle with third‑party insurance.
• Ability to travel within our service delivery area.
• Good level of physical fitness and smartphone for work communications.
• Ability to access emails using your own computer.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality domestic assistance and meal preparation.
• Assist with unaccompanied shopping and personal care.
• Offer respite care and companionship to clients.
• Work directly in clients' homes with flexible roster arrangements.

Positions located across Latrobe Valley, Wellington, East Gippsland and Bass Coast (Qualified only)

Paid kilometres and travel time, travelled between shifts

Qualified (Casual) $36.23 to $37.68 per hour plus 25% casual loading

Due to ongoing growth and increasing demand across both our Support at Home (SaH) and Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) services, we're looking for more passionate and caring Your Care Choice Home Support Workers to help clients continue living safely and comfortably in their own homes.

In this rewarding role, you'll provide a range of supports including high-quality domestic assistance, meal preparation, unaccompanied shopping, personal care, and respite care. You'll be working directly in clients' homes, with flexible roster arrangements to suit your lifestyle.

To be considered for Qualified, you’ll need to have:

• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (must be kept up to date throughout your employment)

This position is classified as a Health Care Worker A. Category A & B healthcare workers are required to receive annual influenza vaccinations unless medically exempt.
