Job summary

Latrobe Community Health Services is seeking qualified Home Support Workers to assist clients in their own homes across the Latrobe Valley region. You’ll deliver domestic help, meals, shopping, personal care and respite services with flexible rosters.

Roles are casual with paid kilometres and travel time, offering opportunities for part-time progression and ongoing support from team leaders. You’ll work in-client homes, positively impacting everyday living for clients.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid and CPR certificate must be kept up to date.
• Valid Working with Children Check required.
• Current Victorian Driver’s Licence required.
• Ownership of a registered vehicle with minimum third-party insurance.
• Ability to travel within our service delivery area.
• Smartphone for work-related communication.
• The ability to access emails using your own computer.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality domestic assistance, meal preparation, unaccompanied shopping, personal care and respite care in clients’ homes.
• Flexible roster arrangements to suit your lifestyle.
• Travel between shifts earns paid kilometres and travel time.

Your Care Choice - Home Support Worker (Qualified only)

Positions located across Latrobe Valley, Wellington, East Gippsland and Bass Coast (Qualified only)

Paid kilometres and travel time, travelled between shifts

Qualified (Casual) $36.23 to $37.68 per hour plus 25% casual loading

Due to ongoing growth and increasing demand across both our Support at Home (SaH) and Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) services, we're looking for more passionate and caring Your Care Choice Home Support Workers to help clients continue living safely and comfortably in their own homes.

In this rewarding role, you'll provide a range of supports including high-quality domestic assistance, meal preparation, unaccompanied shopping, personal care, and respite care. You'll be working directly in clients' homes, with flexible roster arrangements to suit your lifestyle.

To be considered for Qualified, you’ll need to have:

This position is classified as a Health Care Worker A. Category A & B healthcare workers are required to receive annual influenza vaccinations unless medically exempt.
