Job summary

Primo Foods in Brisbane's Wacol site is seeking an experienced Yield Lead to drive manufacturing yield improvements, reduce waste and lead CI projects on the production floor. You will analyse data, partner with Operations, Quality and Maintenance, and coach teams to deliver safe, compliant and efficient outcomes.

Reporting to the Operations Director - QLD, you will develop yield dashboards, set performance targets and apply Lean, Six Sigma and root-cause analysis to optimise product recovery

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in a related field.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis.
• 3+ years in food manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyse and report manufacturing yield performance. Identify losses and waste and develop corrective actions.
• Lead investigations into ingredient usage, production losses and variances; drive CI initiatives.
• Develop yield benchmarks and dashboards; apply Lean/Six Sigma to improve productivity and cost.
• Coach supervisors and operators on waste reduction and process optimization.
• Ensure adherence to new processes, standards and SOPs; validate outcomes.
