Job summary

Redpath Australia is seeking a Yardperson to join the team in a regional NSW project. You will maintain the yard, support site logistics, handle materials and equipment, and uphold a safe and organised work environment.

Responsibilities include receiving, unloading and dispatching, housekeeping, and assisting tradespeople as needed. A manual driver's licence is essential, with prior yard or labouring experience valued. This is a hands-on role in a demanding mining setting.

Reporting to the Project team, the Yardperson will be responsible for maintaining the yard, supporting site logistics, handling materials and equipment, and ensuring a safe and organised work environment.

Qualifications

• Current Manual Driver's Licence (Essential)
• Previous experience in a yardperson, stores, labouring or similar role
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive and reliable work ethic

Desirable Qualifications

• Forklift Licence (Highly Regarded)
• Experience working in mining, construction or heavy industry environments
• Basic mechanical aptitude
