Cricks Tweed in Tweed Heads South, NSW is seeking a reliable Yardsman on a casual basis to join our yard operations and support the day-to-day activities of the business. The role focuses on presenting vehicles, maintaining the yard, and assisting with workflow to ensure smooth operations.

The position requires hands-on work, physical fitness, reliability, and the ability to follow directions from supervisors.

• Previous yard work/general labour experience.
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks.
• Strong health and safety focus in the workplace.
• Reliable and punctual with casual availability.
• Basic communication skills and ability to take direction.
• Problem-solving and willingness to learn new tasks.
• A valid driver's licence is advantageous.
• Health & safety certifications or equipment operation knowledge are beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Wash, clean and maintain vehicles to a high presentation standard.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, polished and ready for customer viewing and test drives.
• Remove rubbish, stickers and temporary markings as required.
• Check vehicles for visible damage and general presentation, reporting issues to the Sales Manager.
• Support yard operations and day-to-day activities as needed.

Cricks Tweed is seeking a reliable and hardworking Yardsman to join our team on a casual basis. This is a hands-on position based in Tweed Heads South, NSW, where you will play an essential role in maintaining our yard operations and supporting the day-to-day activities of our business. The Yardsman position is fundamental to ensuring our facilities run smoothly and efficiently, contributing directly to the success of our operations.

What you'll be doing

As a Yardsman, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Vehicle Presentation and Preparation

Wash, clean and maintain new and used vehicles to a high presentation standard.

Ensure vehicles are clean, polished and ready for customer viewing and test drives.

Remove rubbish, stickers and temporary markings as required.

Check vehicles for visible damage, cleanliness and general presentation, reporting any issues to the Sales Manager.

What we're looking for

To succeed in this Yardsman role, you should have:

Previous experience in yard work, general labour, or a similar hands-on role

Physical fitness and capability to perform manual handling and lifting tasks regularly

A strong focus on health and safety in the workplace

Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work flexibly on a casual basis

Basic communication skills and the ability to take direction from supervisors

Problem-solving ability and a willingness to learn new tasks

A valid driver's licence would be advantageous

Any relevant certifications in health and safety or equipment operation would be beneficial
