Job summary

Sunshine Mitre 10 Kingaroy is seeking a reliable Yard Person / Forklift Operator to join our team. This hands-on role covers the yard, warehouse, order picking, and loading customer vehicles at the Kingaroy Store.

No prior timber or building product experience is required; we provide training on our products, systems, and processes. The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive team with opportunities for development and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Current LF forklift licence.
• Good attitude and willingness to learn.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Strong focus on safety.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to safely handle products.
• Full training will be provided; no prior timber/building product experience required.

Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing customer orders.
• Loading trucks and customer vehicles.
• Unloading and storing incoming products.
• Safe operation of forklifts.
• Keeping the yard and storage areas organised.
• Assisting with general yard duties.
• Working safely and following company procedures.
