Job summary

Daimler Trucks Albury is seeking a Yardperson to join our team. The role involves detailing trucks, delivering and relocating vehicles, and performing maintenance and yard duties at our Albury yard.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Relocate new and used trucks between TriStar Truck & Bus locations and suppliers.
• Detail and prepare new trucks for delivery.
• Check and maintain new trucks on display.
• Assist the pre-delivery team for new trucks.
• Maintain the yard and general dealership facilities.
• Perform general tasks to support dealership operations.

Position Summary :

Purpose

Responsible for detailing of new and used trucks, pickup and delivery of trucks to customers and suppliers, fitting accessories and carrying out of minor repairs and maintenance to trucks. General dealership maintenance like mowing, weeding etc.

• Experience in a similar role or knowledge/experience in a similar industry
• Acceptable similar role experience includes automotive detailing, truck yard operations, or vehicle delivery driver positions
• A minimum of 6 months experience is required for this role
• The capability to contribute to a positive team environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• The capacity to take on manual handling and physical tasks
• Customer service focus, with a "Make It Happen" attitude
• A focus on communication, performance, safety and culture
• A HR drivers licence (as a minimum)
• A forklift licence is also desirable.

Job Responsibility :
