Job summary

Civilmart is hiring a Yardman / Forklift Operator at the Corbould Park site in Queensland. The role focuses on safe movement, loading and dispatch of concrete products, working closely with the Despatch Supervisor and Production team.

The ideal candidate will hold a current forklift licence, have strong safety awareness and be comfortable working outdoors in a physically active role. This position offers long-term career opportunities within the CRH network.

Qualifications

• Must have valid working rights in Australia.
• Current Forklift Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and mobile plant to move, load and unload products.
• Complete daily pre-start checks and inspections on forklifts and equipment.
• Load customer orders accurately, ensuring correct products and quantities are dispatched.
• Safely handle and stack products to prevent damage and maintain site safety.
• Report equipment faults, maintenance issues and unsafe conditions promptly.
• Assist with the movement of products between production, storage and dispatch areas.
• Conduct final quality checks on products prior to storage or dispatch.
• Ensure delivery and dispatch paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain an organised yard and uphold high housekeeping standards at all times.
• Assist with stocktakes and inventory control activities as required.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures and site instructions.
• Support the Despatch Supervisor and wider team with day-to-day operational requirements.

Role Overview

Based at our Corbould Park site, Civilmart is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Yardman / Forklift Operator to join our team.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the safe movement, storage and loading of concrete products, helping to ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and dispatched on time. Working closely with the Despatch Supervisor and Production team, you'll play an important part in keeping yard operations running smoothly while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping.
