Job summary

Richie Bros is seeking personnel to support auction operations in Victoria. The role involves receiving and releasing consigned equipment, lining up items for display, and operating both heavy and light equipment.

You will conduct routine inspections, perform basic maintenance on owned equipment, manage keys, and assist with loading and unloading using a forklift. You will also set out signage, manage signage for sale days, drive the sound truck, and assist with on-site communication by holding

Responsibilities

• Receives and releases consigned equipment for auction.
• Line up equipment for display using auction listings.
• Operates heavy and light equipment.
• Performs facility inspections and housekeeping tasks.
• Conducts basic maintenance on RBA-owned equipment.
• Manages keys for equipment.
• Operates forklift to load/unload equipment.
• Assembles equipment components, e.g. dozer blades.
• Checks fluid and fuel levels on equipment.
• Sets out signage, flagging, and trash receptacles for auction day.
• Drives sound truck.
• Holds “This item for sale” sign.

• Drives/operates heavy and light equipment.
• Performs facility inspections (per checklists) and provides housekeeping or maintenance services as necessary.
• Performs basic maintenance on RBA owned equipment.
• Manages keys for equipment.
• Operates forklift to load/unload stationary row equipment.
• Basic assembly of equipment i.e. dozer blades, etc.
• Checks fluid and fuel levels on equipment.
• Sets out signage, flagging, and trash receptacles for auction day.
• Drives sound truck.
• Holds ‘This item for sale sign’ (stick person).
