Job summary

Pinnacle Hire in Yatala is seeking a reliable Yard Person to join our team. This hands-on role involves keeping a clean, safe yard, maintaining inventory, and supporting operations for dewatering, pumping, and water treatment projects across Australia.

You will work outdoors, operate basic plant equipment, load and unload deliveries, and use mobile apps to track equipment movements. A current manual driver's licence and a forklift licence (LF) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in yard, warehouse, logistics, construction, or industrial environments.

About the role

Based at our Yatala branch, you'll play a key role in ensuring our yard, equipment, and inventory are maintained, organised, and ready for deployment. Your work will directly contribute to delivering exceptional service to our customers and keeping projects running across the country.

Key responsibilities

Yard Maintenance & Operations

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised yard environment.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic servicing of plant and equipment.
• Organise tools, materials, and machinery to support efficient operations.
• Assist with general yard duties and operational tasks as required.

Equipment & Inventory Management

• Support inventory control and stock management.
• Safely load and unload trucks and deliveries.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment where required.
• Check, move, and track equipment and materials accurately.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow company safety procedures and site requirements.
• Use PPE and operate equipment safely.
• Report hazards and assist in maintaining a safe workplace.
• Promote a positive safety culture for employees and visitors.

What We're Looking For

• Current manual driver's licence.
