Job summary

MSM Milling Pty. Ltd. is seeking a full-time Yard Operator to join our Operations Support – Oil Team in Manildra.

You will be responsible for safe, efficient and timely dispatch of oil to customers while operating in the oil tank farm to ensure reliable delivery meeting quality requirements. This permanent role includes on-the-job training and requires a strong safety mindset, physical fitness, and practical mechanical and diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• Ideally hold a forklift licence; training available for right candidate.
• HR truck licence is advantageous; HC licence may be required later.
• Demonstrates safety-first approach and physical fitness.
• Demonstrates mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Basic computer literacy and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute loading of bulk road tankers and fill large-format products.
• Coordinate and oversee oil transport to designated storage facilities.
• Understand and apply Chain-of-Responsibility in heavy goods transport.
• Assist Operations Support with maintenance and cleaning tasks as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and quality control across the yard.

Your Opportunity

MSM Milling is seeking a full-time Yard Operator to join our Operations Support – Oil Team. You will have the responsibility for safe, efficient and timely dispatch of oil to our customers while operating in the oil tank farm to ensure a reliable delivery that meets with quality requirements. This is a permanent role with all suitable on the job training provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute the loading of bulk road tankers and manage the filling of large-format products
• Coordinate and oversee the transport of oil to designated storage facilities in line with operational requirements
• Understand and demonstrate the Chain-of-Responsibility in heavy goods transport
• Assist in Operations Support including relevant maintenance and cleaning where required
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and quality control

About you

• Ideally you will hold a forklift licence, or we can offer suitable training for the right candidate
• An HR truck licence would be an advantage and you are willing/able to acquire an HC licence
• Have a suitable physical fitness with the ability to undertake manual-handling activities
• Have a strong safety mindset
• Have a mechanical aptitude
• Possess good diagnostic and problem solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Basic computer literacy and be an effective communicator.
