Qualifications

• Experience in production, manufacturing, agriculture, or mill operations is preferred.
• A current Forklift Licence is desirable but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on safety is important.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
• Physically fit and able to work in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production and milling equipment.
• Prepare and load raw materials for production.
• Conduct regular quality checks and record production data.
• Assist with product sampling, packing, and dispatch.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance of machinery and work areas.
• Follow safety and operating procedures to maintain a safe workplace.
• Operate forklifts for loading and unloading onto trucks.
• Operate the weighbridge.

About the Role

As a Mill Production Operator, you’ll play an important role in keeping the mill running smoothly and efficiently. Your day will include:

• Operating and monitoring production and milling equipment


• Preparing and loading raw materials for production


• Conducting regular quality checks and recording production data


• Assisting with product sampling, packing, and dispatch


• Performing general cleaning and maintenance of machinery and work areas


• Following safety and operating procedures to maintain a safe workplace


• Operating Forklifts loading and unloading onto trucks


• Operating the Weighbridge

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in production, manufacturing, agriculture, or mill operations (preferred but not essential)


• A current Forklift Licence (desired but not essential)


• Strong attention to detail and focus on safety


• Reliable, self-motivated, and willing to learn


• Physically fit and comfortable working in an industrial environment


• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
