Job summary

K&S Corporation NTFS division is seeking a hands-on yard operator in Darwin. The role combines container yard tasks with local road deliveries, providing variety in a busy transport environment.

Approximately 80% of your time will be spent unloading containers, moving freight with forklifts and Combi Lifts, and ensuring safety and load restraint. The rest involves local HR deliveries and driving duties under the supervision of the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Valid HR licence and forklift experience required.
• Experience unloading containers and moving freight.
• Combi Lift experience is highly regarded.
• Strong commitment to safety, load restraint and fatigue management.
• Clean driving history with no major infringements.

Responsibilities

• Unload containers in the yard using forklifts and Combi Lifts.
• Move freight within the yard and onto/off HR vehicles.
• Conduct local HR deliveries and driving duties as required.
• Follow safety procedures and load restraint protocols.
• Communicate effectively with team and supervisors.
