Job summary

Ecocycle Group in St Marys NSW is seeking a full-time yard hand for our outdoor site. The role runs 07:00–16:00 with overtime and some Saturdays possibly required.

You will work in a small team in an industrial environment, performing practical tasks and staying physically active. duties include sorting batteries by chemistry, processing electronic waste, bailing materials, and operating a forklift for loading/unloading trucks.

Qualifications

• A valid forklift license.
• Knowledge of safe driving practices.
• Ability to identify tasks using own initiative and work independently.
• Reasonable fitness and ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy items.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Sorting batteries into their specific chemistries.
• Processing electronic waste.
• Bailing a variety of materials.
• Operating a forklift for general tasks as well as loading and unloading trucks.
