Job summary

Logical Staffing is recruiting for Yard Driver roles in Altona, Melbourne. Roles are available on a temporary and ongoing basis, with shifts 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

You will perform pre-delivery inspections, yard consolidation and preservation tasks in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Requirements include a full Australian driver’s licence (manual preferred), recent work references, and a demerit point check.

TEMP & ONGOING ROLES AVAILABLE

MUST be available Monday to Friday with no planned leave.

About the role

Yardperson roles are available in ALTONA

Shift times are 6:30AM - 2:30PM Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities:

• Pre-Delivery inspections of vehicles
• Consolidation (moving vehicles from A to B in the yard and ensuring they are parked neatly)
• Preservation (Checking batteries, tire pressure, refuelling, washbay)

About you:

• FULL Australian Drivers Licence (manual preferred)
• Last 2 years of Work References (verified via work email or landline)
• Demerit Point Check

What we are looking for:

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence - manual preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment in all weather conditions (outdoors)
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety
• Previous experience in logistics, transport, or yard operations is beneficial but not essential
• Physically fit and able to walk up to 20,000 steps per day in some instances.
• You MUST be available Monday to Friday until mid-Jan with no planned leave.
