Job summary

Busways is seeking a Relief Yard Assistant (Refueller) to support our Ryde and Willoughby depots. In this role you will ensure buses are clean, fueled, and prepared for service, and perform pre-departure checks to help keep the fleet at peak readiness.

You will work closely with the Workshop teams, coordinate bus availability, and handle ad-hoc tasks as required. The position offers a hands-on environment within a supportive, team-focused organisation.

Qualifications

• Must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or have working rights in Australia.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
• Current Driver Authority / Accreditation issued by the relevant State.
• Must hold a valid Working with Children clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure buses are externally cleaned, washed and fuelled per depot KPI.
• Perform pre-departure checks and weekly oil and water checks.
• Coordinate with Workshops for additional requirements.
• Ensure requested buses are available for the workshop when services are required.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as directed.
