Flinders University is seeking a Social Media Officer (Chinese Channels) to drive content and engagement for prospective Chinese students. Based at Bedford Park, this 0.5 FTE, fixed-term role focuses on creating Mandarin-language content and growing the university’s presence in China.

Qualifications

• Native-level Mandarin Chinese and advanced English proficiency.
• Experience creating high-quality social media content including videos, photography and written posts.
• Strong understanding of Chinese social media platforms, especially Xiaohongshu (RED).
• Ability to review social media results and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsabilités

• Create and share engaging content across Chinese social media channels, focusing on Xiaohongshu (RED).
• Build and maintain active online communities by responding and encouraging engagement.
