Job summary

Coast to Country Caravans – Mackay is seeking a reliable, hands-on Workshop & Display Yard Assistant to join our growing team in Mackay.

No two days are the same. You’ll help keep showroom and workshop environments looking sharp and running smoothly, wash caravans, assist the service team, detail vehicles for delivery, and perform basic maintenance under supervision.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s licence is essential.
• Experience with showroom/workshop cleanliness and presentation is desirable.
• Willingness to perform hands-on, physical tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in caravan and RV industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure showroom and public areas are clean, tidy, and presentable.
• Wash and clean caravans to a high standard.
• Assist the service team with general workshop tasks.
• Detail caravans ready for customer delivery.
• Basic Caravan Servicing (under supervision).
• General yard duties and ensuring the venue is presented neatly.
• Basic gardening and outdoor maintenance.

About the Role

No two days are the same. You’ll play a key role in keeping both our showroom and workshop environments looking sharp and running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring showroom and public areas are always clean, tidy, and presentable

• Washing and cleaning caravans to a high standard

• Assisting the service team with general workshop tasks

• Detailing caravans ready for customer delivery

• Basic Caravan Servicing (under supervision)

• General yard duties and ensuring the venue is presented neatly

• Basic gardening and outdoor maintenance

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Takes pride in presentation and attention to detail

• Is reliable, punctual, and has a strong work ethic

• Enjoys hands‑on, physical work

• Can work both independently and as part of a team

• Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn

• Holds a current driver’s licence (essential)

• Forklift License is highly desirable
