Job summary

Lawrence RV Newcastle Service Centre is seeking a Caravan Service & Repair Technician to service caravans, perform repairs and insurance work, and conduct pre-delivery inspections. You will diagnose warranty issues, detail caravans to showroom standards, and train customers at handover on how to operate their new RV.

Qualifications

• Trade skills (automotive, electrical, plumbing, gas, cabinetry, welding) or strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent hand and power tool proficiency.
• High attention to detail in workmanship and finish.
• Strong communication and a customer-first mindset.
• Reliability, initiative, and a collaborative attitude.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, repairs, and insurance work on caravans.
• Pre-delivery inspections and accessory fit-outs.
• Diagnosing and fixing warranty issues.
• Cleaning and detailing caravans to showroom standard.
• Training customers at handover on how to use their new RV.
• Occasionally towing caravans when required.

Our Newcastle Service Centre is growing rapidly, and we’re looking for a hands-on, positive, and reliable team member who enjoys turning up to work each day and getting the job done.

The Role

As a Caravan Service & Repair Technician, you’ll be involved in a wide variety of workshop and customer-focused tasks, including:

• Servicing, repairs, and insurance work on caravans
• Pre-delivery inspections and accessory fit-outs
• Diagnosing and fixing warranty issues
• Cleaning and detailing caravans to showroom standard
• Training customers at handover on how to use their new RV
• Occasionally towing caravans when required

Whether you’re experienced in the trade or just starting out, we’ll provide full training and the support you need to grow.
