Komatsu Forklift Australia in Tomago, NSW, is seeking a Workshop Supervisor to lead our Newcastle workshop team. This hands-on leadership role keeps you connected to the workshop while driving people, workflow and customer outcomes.

You’ll coordinate technicians, plan jobs, provide technical guidance and ensure safe, high-quality servicing and repairs. A proven mechanical trade background and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

Relevant mechanical trade background, ideally in forklifts, material handling, automotive or heavy equipment.
Experience as Leading Hand, Supervisor or senior technician, or potential to progress into leadership.
Strong diagnostic and mechanical knowledge with a safety-minded approach.

Responsibilities

Leading and coordinating technicians and workshop personnel across day-to-day activities.
Planning and prioritising workshop jobs to keep work moving efficiently.
Providing technical support and guidance when the team needs it.
Ensuring servicing, maintenance and repairs are completed safely and to a high standard.
Reviewing and authorising workshop quotations.
Working directly with customers to understand requirements and deliver strong service outcomes.
Coordinating labour requirements with other areas of the business.
Monitoring workshop performance, productivity and profitability.
Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and compliance across the operation.
