Komatsu Forklift Australia is seeking a Workshop Supervisor for our Newcastle branch in Tomago. You’ll lead day-to-day workshop operations, supporting technicians to deliver safe, high-quality repairs and maintenance while ensuring our customers receive the service they expect.

This hands-on leadership role keeps you connected to the workshop while taking ownership of people, workflow and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Relevant mechanical trade background in forklifts or heavy equipment.
• Experience as Leading Hand, Supervisor or senior technician.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical knowledge.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate technicians and workshop personnel daily.
• Plan and prioritise workshop jobs to maintain flow.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the team.
• Ensure servicing and repairs are safe and high quality.
• Review and authorise workshop quotations.
• Work with customers to understand requirements and deliver service outcomes.
• Coordinate labour with other areas of the business.
• Monitor workshop performance, productivity and profitability.
• Maintain safety, quality and compliance standards.
