WesTrac in Mt Thorley (NSW) invites applications for a Workshop Supervisor to lead the New Machines Workshop onsite at Tomago, focusing on safety, quality and timely delivery of Caterpillar equipment.

You will oversee daily workshop operations, coordinate resources and drive a high-performing, safety-focused team in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in workshop, maintenance, manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of workplace health, safety and environmental practices.

About The Opportunity

WesTrac is seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Supervisor to lead our New Machines Workshop onsite at Tomago, driving safety, quality, productivity and team performance while ensuring new Caterpillar equipment is assembled, commissioned and delivered to the highest standards. In this leadership role, you will oversee daily workshop operations, coordinate resources and workflow, and ensure build schedules and customer commitments are achieved.

Working closely with technicians and operational leaders, you will develop and support a high-performing team while fostering a strong safety culture and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional operational and customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop workshop employees to achieve operational objectives
