Job summary

Coolamon Shire Council is seeking a Workshop Supervisor to lead maintenance of mobile plant, fixed plant, and vehicles. The role is full-time, with a focus on delivering quality repairs and maintenance across Council assets.

Candidates must be a qualified Diesel Mechanic with at least 3 years' trade experience, possess strong leadership skills, and hold a current HR Licence, Motor Vehicle Inspector's Certificate and WHS White Card. A Council vehicle, mobile phone and regular RDO are provided.

Job description

Coolamon Shire Council is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the role of Workshop Supervisor.

This full time role will be responsible for ensuring the provision of quality repairs and maintenance to mobile plant, fixed plant, vehicles and equipment within our organisation.

To be successful in this role, applicants should;

be a qualified Diesel Mechanic with a minimum of 3 years trade experience

have solid leadership skills

Current HR Licence

Current Motor Vehicle Inspector's Certificate

WHS White Card

This role will have limited use of a Council Vehicle, mobile phone and a regular RDO.

Salary range for this position is $1,223.90 to $1,346.01 per week dependent on qualifications and experience.
