Job summary

PYBAR Mining Services Pty seeks an experienced Electrician for its Orange, NSW workshop. This full-time role involves autonomous and team-based underground electrical maintenance, with a Monday–Friday roster and site travel as needed.

The successful candidate will perform planned and breakdown maintenance, troubleshoot faults, ensure safety compliance, keep records, and support production targets in a dynamic mining environment.

Qualifications

• Trade Certificate in Electrical or similar.
• NSW Electrical Supervisors Licence.
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience as an underground or mine site electrician.
• Familiar with 1000v Mining equipment such as drill rigs, pumps, fans and starters.
• Estimating time and materials required to complete jobs.
• Managing and ordering parts and materials.
• Completing equipment rebuilds, repairs and upgrades.
• Ability to travel to site to provide support, maintenance, and electrical work.
• Knowledge of AS5368 standard and NSW Mining electrical regulations.
• Experience using CMMS.
• A strong focus on safety.
• Hold a current Australian Drivers License.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a current National Police Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures, statutory requirements and company policies.
• Working collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams to achieve production targets.

The services we provide range from mine development, production, cable bolting and drilling, raise boring, shotcreting and fleet.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently looking for experienced Electrician to support our PYBAR Workshop located in Orange, NSW. Working autonomously as well as part of a team and ensuring a high quality of work, you expand your experience and knowledge of underground Electrical maintenance.

This position will see you working a Monday - Friday roster in a full-time position with some site travel required on a as needed basis.
