Job summary

Pipe Lining & Coating in Rutherford, NSW, is seeking an experienced Fabrication Workshop Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. You will manage day-to-day workshop activities, directing a team of up to 20 tradespeople, apprentices, and contractors, reporting to the Project Manager as the vital link between management and the floor.

We require trade qualifications in Boilermaking or Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade, plus Welding qualifications and proven supervisory

Qualifications

• Boilermaking qualification or equivalent
• Welding qualifications
• Proven supervisory experience
• Experience in Pipe Manufacturing/Welding (100% NDT) is preferred
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to identify and implement improvements in manufacturing processes

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing operations and ensure safe, efficient day-to-day running of the workshop
• Supervise and direct a team of up to 20 trades people, apprentices, trades assistants and contractors
• Report to the Project Manager and act as a key link between management and workshop floor
• Identify improvements to manufacturing processes and drive implementation
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards and pass pre-employment checks as required

Our Rutherford based facility is seeking an experienced Fabrication Workshop Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for safely and efficiently managing the day to day running of the workshop, including supervision and direction for a team of up to 20 trades people, apprentices, trades assistants and contractors. The role is a vital link between management and the workshop floor.
