ACM Talent Solutions represents a client in Ballarat seeking a Labourer/Workshop Assistant for a hands-on role in a busy workshop. You will support a skilled trades team and help keep projects running smoothly in a collaborative environment.

The role offers stable, full-time work with on-the-job training, a strong team focus, and opportunities to learn while contributing to fabrication and manufacturing activities in the rail/heavy equipment sector.

Formación

• A keen willingness to learn and follow directions.
• Reliable and proactive approach to work.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Basic mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience (helpful).

Responsabilidades

• Operate workshop saws and brake presses.
• Assist with stores duties (picking and preparing parts).
• Manage pick-ups and drop-offs.
• Conduct general workshop and equipment maintenance.
• Fit basic attachments and perform assembly work (wheels and related components).
• Prepare surfaces for painting.

Conocimientos

Willingness to learn

Team player

Basic mechanical aptitude

Driver's license

Labouring experience (preferred)
