Job summary

Recruit Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic labourer to join the team in Kurri Kurri, NSW. The role is part-time, three days a week, with a view to growing to full-time hours in the future.

You will support fabricators with loading, unloading, cutting, grinding, and preparing materials, while keeping the workshop clean and organized. A hands-on approach and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and a proactive attitude are essential.
• Hands-on, practical approach to tasks in a fab shop environment.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist fabricators by loading, unloading and moving materials and finished products.
• Cut, grind and prepare materials under instruction.
• Clean and deburr fabricated components and maintain shop cleanliness.
• Use handheld and power tools as required.
• Prepare completed jobs for dispatch and packaging.
• Support general workshop duties and scrap metal removal.
