RPR Trades in NSW is seeking a hands-on Workshop Assistant with metal fabrication exposure. The role suits someone who enjoys practical tasks, can follow instructions, and contribute to a compact, safety-minded team.

You will operate a drill press and angle grinder, assist with finishing, and support machine operators. Training is provided, with a view to permanent employment; pay is $38.50 per hour plus superannuation, Monday to Friday, day shift.

Competenze

• Previous metal fabrication or workshop experience preferred, but not essential.
• Experience using an angle grinder and drill press.
• Current forklift licence preferred.
• Physically fit with good attention to detail and teamwork.

Mansioni

• Assist with general workshop and metal fabrication duties.
• Operate a drill press for basic workshop tasks.
• Use an angle grinder for finishing metal components.
• Sand and prepare metal products.
• Spray painting metal components as required.
• Assist with preparation, handling and finishing of fabricated metal products.
• Load, unload and move materials around the workshop.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Support machine operators and tradespeople with general duties.
