Job summary

Conplant Pty Ltd, the largest privately owned specialist in compaction and construction equipment in Australia, is seeking a Workshop Mechanic for its Yatala workshop in Queensland. You will diagnose faults and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in a fast-paced operation.

You’ll bring a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology and at least 12 months of hands-on experience with heavy construction equipment, plus a current driving licence and a commitment to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology is required.
• At least 12 months’ experience working on heavy construction equipment.
• Current driving licence.
• Ability to follow WHS and QA procedures.

Responsibilities

• Undertake fault diagnosis and repair (mechanical, electrical and hydraulics) in Conplant’s workshop.
• Ensure work is completed in a time-sensitive operational environment.
• Adhere to safety and quality procedures and maintain workshop standards.

We are currently seeking a Workshop Mechanic to join our team based in Yatala Qld. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operation of the business, ensuring that we continue to meet and exceed customer expectation.

The role:

Undertake fault diagnosis and repair (mechanical, electrical and hydraulics) in a time sensitive operational environment in Conplant’s workshop.

You will bring:

Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology

At least 12 months’ experience working on heavy construction equipment.

Practical experience of and a willingness to follow well established workplace health and safety and quality assurance procedures.

Current driving licence.

Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively whilst managing multiple priorities.
