Job summary

Conplant is seeking a qualified Plant Mechanic to join our workshop team in Ingleburn, NSW. You will diagnose faults and repair mechanical, electrical, air conditioning and hydraulics in a time-sensitive workshop environment, reporting to the Workshop Manager.

The role requires a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology, at least 12 months post-qualification experience on heavy construction equipment, a current driving licence, and a commitment to safe, efficient work.

Qualifications

• 12 months' post-qualification heavy equipment experience.
• Current driving licence essential.
• Willingness to follow health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a qualified Plant Mechanic to join our workshop team based in Ingleburn in NSW. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operation of the business, ensuring that we continue to meet and exceed customer expectation.

The role:

Undertake fault diagnosis and repair (mechanical, electrical, air conditioning and hydraulics) in a time sensitive operational environment in Conplant’s workshop.

You will bring:

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology
• At least 12 months’ post qualification experience working on heavy construction equipment and a current driving licence are essential.
• Practical experience of and a willingness to follow well established workplace health and safety procedures.
• Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively whilst managing multiple priorities.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
