Motion in Montrose, Tasmania, is hiring a hands-on Workshop Fitter for a permanent full-time role. You will build, recondition and balance driveshafts, machine driveline components, and perform assembly with welding in a busy workshop environment.

You will report to the Branch Manager, receive on-the-job training, and have opportunities for career progression, with annual salary reviews and incentives. This role requires a practical mindset and a focus on safety and quality.

Qualificações

• Hands-on mechanical mindset with practical skills.
• Experience in cars, machinery, or related equipment is preferred.
• Welding and lathe experience are highly regarded.
• Must be flexible and proactive in a workshop setting.

Responsabilidades

• Build and recondition driveshafts for automotive, commercial, off highway and industrial applications.
• Machine driveline components.
• Assemble, weld, and balance driveshafts.
• General workshop duties as required.
