Job summary

Cummins is seeking skilled Diesel Mechanics for our Wetherill Park team in Sydney. You will work on heavy diesel engines, performing repairs and maintenance with a focus on reliability and safety.

Join a global leader and take part in hands-on engine work in a structured shop environment. The role offers a Monday–Friday roster with occasional Saturdays, a competitive hourly rate with penalty overtime, a bonus program, and attractive employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Diesel mechanics with heavy diesel experience preferred.
• Experience servicing and maintaining heavy diesel engines and machinery.
• MVTC certificate required or equivalent qualification.

• Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines or components.

We are looking for talented Diesel Mechanics to join our team specialising in engine repairs and maintenance for our Wetherill Park branch.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products
• Diagnose and repair engines
• Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and /or engine components
• Engine rebuilding and reconditioning

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Mechanical trades qualified as Heavy Diesel Mechanic, plant mechanic or light vehicle with heavy vehicle experience.
• Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, and similar applications is preferred (ideally with an OEM)
• Must have MVTC certificate.

• Competitive Hourly rate, Overtime paid as penalty rates, Shift Allowance and Tool Allowance - 38-hour work week
