Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a reliable Workshop Labourer for a Rockhampton workshop-based role. You will support the maintenance team with general workshop housekeeping, cleaning and tidying, and basic assembly tasks while ensuring a clean, safe, and well-organised environment.

The position offers a 9-day fortnight, a consistent 10-hour shift pattern, and an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a workshop setting with a team-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Current Driver's Licence is required.
• Experience in labouring, workshop, or maintenance roles is advantageous.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding work.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety is essential.
• Reliable work ethic and positive attitude are important.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping throughout the workshop.
• Clean and maintain amenities, gardens, and car park areas.
• Assist with workshop maintenance and tidiness.
• Clean mechanical components and parts.
• Assist with basic assembly tasks.
• Operate a gurney to wash parts and radiators.
• Clean radiator hoses and tubes.
• Follow instructions from Leading Hands and Supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment.

Our client is a leading provider of industrial equipment and maintenance services, committed to delivering quality outcomes and maintaining a safe, productive workplace. They are seeking a reliable Workshop Labourer to assist with workshop upkeep and support the maintenance team.

What You Will Be Doing
