Job summary

Sheet Metal Solutions NSW in Riverstone is hiring a Trades Assistant / Factory Hand to support a busy workshop. The role is hands-on, with duties across loading, unloading, packing customer orders and assisting laser cutting and CNC bending operations.

We provide training, a day shift, and opportunities to advance as you gain experience with modern sheet-metal equipment. Previous sheet metal or warehousing exposure is valued, and a forklift licence is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking with a can-do attitude.
• Organised and able to prioritise customer orders.
• Careful and accurate when sorting and packing components.
• Follow job sheets and check part quantities.
• Mechanically minded with interest in machinery.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools and manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading sheet metal and other materials.
• Sorting, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
• Checking parts and quantities against job paperwork.
• Assisting with laser cutting and CNC bending operations.
• Receiving and storing incoming materials.
• Assisting with loading customer and delivery vehicles.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop.
